A Guide on Professional Apparel
Professional apparel is a necessity for the office and settings where people have to present their best selves. It only takes a few pieces of apparel to create a professional wardrobe, and they can be mixed and matched with no limits. This applies to both men and women as professional clothing consists of standard pieces that last for years, especially when well-made.
The items of professional apparel can also be thought of as a blank canvas and accented with jewelry and accessories to give an outfit a personal touch.
Both men and women can build their wardrobe out of pieces of apparel that include a blazer and/or suitjacket, slacks that feature different cuts, and button-down shirts in white or other complimentary colors. Shirts with quiet patterns are also acceptable apparel for professional wear. Women have a little more in the way of apparel options in that they can also wear skirts. However, make sure to pick skirts that come to just above the knee at the shortest, and have a fitted cut. The overall goal for wearing professional apparel is to create a clean visual that’s balanced and doesn’t overwhelm the viewer. Always keep a thought towards pairing different pieces together, IE a navy jacket to wear with tan pants or skirt, to get the most out of the selection and expand the potential of each piece of apparel.
