The Basics of Heating and Cooling
Every household or commercial building needs some form of heating and cooling. This is because we live in a world dominated by a temperature that requires using these technologies. This article will cover some of the basics of heating and cooling, as illustrated in the video,” HVAC Training – Basics of HVAC.
“
Firstly, people need to understand the purpose of heating and cooling. Individuals use heating and cooling systems to provide a specific temperature throughout a building. Without this, the surrounding will change in temperature, which may be uncomfortable and stressful. The proper function of the heating and cooling system is essential in creating the right environment for individuals to live comfortably.
Some main parts that make up the heating and cooling system include heating and cooling pipes, the cooling tower, condenser, discharge air, and the expansion valve. The heat is transferred through the pipe to the cooling tower, which then moves it to the condenser, which becomes cold and is released into the discharge air. Lastly, this process has to be regulated by an expansion valve. This is an integral part of the system because it ensures enough air pressure and temperature go through.
In conclusion, the heating and cooling system is essential in maintaining the right temperature throughout a building. Without this, the building will be substantially colder or hotter than it should be, which can cause issues such as overheating or overcooling.
